Red and Sunshine

Red and Sunshine have been looking for homes for many months but continue to be passed over for adoption in favor of cute little kittens

Sunshine was rescued from the Garbage Company last summer. She was then a yearand a half old and was already spayed. She may have been a lost pet. She is a very pretty long-haired orange-and-white tabby who loves to be brushed and petted. She purrs readily and is docile and sweet to handle, although she is afraid of loud noises, fast movements and people she does notknow. She is happily independent at times, and at other times she wants affection and love. More and more she wants to snuggle and get on laps.

Red was rescued when he was about four months old, “running wild” around a house in a SLO neighborhood. He is now about a year old and is a beautiful short-haired orange-and-white-tabby who loves to snuggle, be petted and sit on laps. Red is an energetic boy and very alert. He is quite playful and loves to hunt things down. He would enjoy having another playful cat as a mate. He too is afraid of quick movements, loud noises and new people. He will be shy at first, but he is exceptionally sweet-natured.

Both these cats need a home with someone who understands shy kitties and is willing to be patient and give them plenty of time to settle into their new home. Red and Sunshine are lovers by nature; a bit shy, yes, but they are wonderful kitties.
